Each state have their own regulations and speed laws regarding mopeds, for example in Connecticut no title, registration and insurance are necessary to operate a moped but you need a driving license, or a special permit from the CT DMV if you do not drive a car. Other states require a title and insurances.
Connecticut mopeds are the A type (30mph)
Massachusetts are B type (25mph)
Ohio are C type (20 mph) etc
